These were some pics from this morning after the sun came up in our front and back yard. There are many more down this afternoon. Every little bit I hear a pop and big crash. The neighbors have a bunch of limbs down too. Fortunately our power is still on but it is off about a mile down the road in both directions. I stayed home today and kept Riley. Our roads weren't that bad but I was a little afraid of getting there and not being able to get back home. It worked out for the best. Riley's day care was closed and Mrs. Donna who keeps her had her power go out too. I did learn a good tip for the bad weather. Fill your bathtub up with water the night before and at least you have water to flush the toilet with if the power goes out. I thought that was a great idea!

I put Riley in this clothes basket one day on the pillow while we were watching tv and she loved it. She sat there and watched tv for the longest time and never moved or tried to climb out. I guess to her it was her own personal comfy chair. She is funny about things like that. She is playing with her microphone that came with one of her Christmas toys. If she is out of the basket she loves to push it around. She gets around as well or better with it than some of the walkers she has. I'm thinking we should quit buying toys and just buy more household items!

Last week we took a day off and went up to my Aunt Janice's for Pioneer Day. My uncle Richard is a Pioneer seed dealer and they always have a great celebration for their customers and friends/family. It is always great with homeade rolls and pies and other great food. I snagged this pic of Grandpa-Great Storey and cousin Joseph. Joseph is recently a big brother. His little sister Alexus was born on Wednesday. He is so sweet and gentle that I know he will be a great brother. His dad and I are cousins and were born only a few months apart so we grew up together. Riley received a belated Christmas present at mom and dad's house. She always loves playing the piano. She has enjoyed playing with it a lot since she has had it at home.

Here are a few pics snapped by Daddy of Riley during her first bath in the big tub. It isn't that she has outgrown the sink, it is just that on this night Mommy was too lazy to wash the dishes that were in the sink and to go without a bath wasn't an option. She really seemed to like it. I've read a lot about babies developing fears when they move to the big tub but that doesn't seem to be the case. Riley crawls around chasing the duckies. She got some tub toys for Christmas we will be getting out for the next bath. You'll notice her evil grin in the first picture.

These pictures were taken at Gran's on Christmas Eve. My nephew Justin will be attending UK in the fall on a scholarship. We are very proud he will be a Wildcat and I think Uncle Tim is looking forward to visiting. Riley enjoyed playing in cousin Logan's lap.
