Sunday afternoon while I was at a meeting at church, Tim, David and Riley got the paddleboat out and paddled around on the pond. It was hot but I think they had a good time.
I know I've been behind, be we are in the home stretch of our house building and we've been really busy. We aren't doing much ourselves, but what we are has taken twice as long as I would have imagined. These are some picks Tim took of Riley while we were shopping for some furniture and carpet. Not sure who the cute little girls are in the last pic, but they were having a good time!
We were too far away to get good pictures of David but if you squint you might see him in the second one getting his diploma. The other pictures are before graduation. Riley was wearing her crown from honorary uncle Glenn.
Riley is learning early that Memorial Day on the farm may mean spending the day in the service truck with no AC. But we did get time to fill up the pool for some play in the afternoon.
We don't know this family but stumbled across their story on another blog. Their story is heart-breaking but their show of faith is extraordinary. They are both an example and a reason to be thankful for what you have.
