Visiting

Last Thursday night while I was at a church meeting, Tim and Riley went visiting. They ended up at Danny Cunningham's (or as Tim calls him "Gran-Danny" Cunningham) and Danny's daughters took some pictures of Riley that they passed on to us. Riley is very fortunate to have many honorary aunts, uncles and grandparents...

4 months

Riley is 4 months old today. It is hard to believe. She had her check-up this morning and went with me early to visit at the office. Tim and I took these pictures this morning before we leaft. Riley was 11 lbs 12 oz and 24 1/2 inches long. The dr. was pleased with her growth and she didn't seem to have any problems.

Sunday Afternoon

We took some pictures of Riley on Sunday afternoon. She was in a really good mood and gave us lots of smiles. She will be 4 months old on Monday.

Grandparents

We spent this weekend in Illinois visiting with my family. Grandma and Grandpa Wilson took turns spoiling Riley with some help from the rest of the family. Jesse, Ashley and I picked almost two gallons of blackberries behind mom and dad's house and we spent some time swimming in the pond. The last picture was taken last week of Riley and Tim's mom on her front porch with Star the dog.

No Laughing Matter

We heard our first real laugh from Riley today. She is always smiling and cooing but this sounded like a real laugh. Tim was playing with her with a little stuffed lamb and she kept laughing at him. Tim snuck around and got these pictures. Riley was laying on my chest and giving something behind me a real talking to. We think she was looking at the lamp. She was just staring at it and jabbering in the most serious tone.

Less than cooperative...

Riley has been fever-free all weekend so we hope that she is over whatever virus she had last week. Yesterday she was in a pretty foul mood all day but she slept all night last night so maybe she'll be back to herself today. I tried to get some pictures of her this morning before she'd had her breakfast and she was less than interested in smiling or sitting still.

First Illness

Pictures have been hard to come by this week. We've had vbs every night and Riley has been running a low temperature off and on all week. I took her to the dr. today and her viral count is up. They didn't really do anything for her but said if she is still running a temp over the weekend to bring her in Monday for some other tests to rule out a urinary tract infection. Other than a little more fussiness than usual, she really hasn't had any other symptoms. Hopefully we can take some pictures this weekend to post.
