3 Months

Riley is 3 months old today. She hasn't had the best day. She is running a little bit of a temperature and we think she may be starting to cut some teeth.

12 Weeks

Riley was 12 weeks old on Friday. She is getting better at sitting while propped up and she seems to enjoy the added perspective. Tim helped me get these pictures by keeping her entertained. He sings her favorite song; the theme song from Pinky & the Brain (a cartoon).

Sleepy Girl

Tim and Riley usually get a few extra minutes of sleep in the morning after I get up. This picture was taken last week when they were both "sleeping in" in our bed together. Riley often sleeps with her arms up by or above her head. She always looks so relaxed. Tim takes care of getting her ready in the mornings so I can actually make it to work on time now that we are on early summer hours. I must say I'm jealous as I hear them "talking" and rounds of "Old McDonald" coming from the nursery. They have a lot of fun together. I just have to get Tim convinced that those little pink socks are actually anklets and not tube socks. I usually catch them before they get out the door. I'll have to get a picture of that to post soon.

Practicing

We've been putting Riley in her high chair and letting her get used to what a spoon feels like in preparation for starting some solid foods in the next few months. She seems to like the spoon really well.

Feelin' Yucky

Riley had her 2 month vaccinations today. She had to have three shots in her legs. She actually did very well and only cried for a little bit. I think it was harder on Mom and especially Dad than it was on her. She was a little whiny afterward but not fussy. Here she is in her favorite spot - the middle of our bed - after we got home from work yesterday. She was pretty zoned out from the Tylenol I think.

Riley at Methodist Conference

Riley went with us to conference in Jackson, TN on Monday. We were able to visit with many pastors and their wives that we don't get to see often because they have moved out of our district. She was really good all day and traveled well as usual. Here is a picture of her from last week.

School Spirit

Riley wore this dress to church on Sunday. It has Murray State University embroidered on the front in the school colors. Bonnie McNeely from the college of business sent this dress for Riley. The dark blue almost matches the color of her eyes.
