Memorial Day

Riley is learning early that Memorial Day on the farm may mean spending the day in the service truck with no AC.  But we did get time to fill up the pool for some play in the afternoon.

In the Neighborhood

Our backyard has one of the deeper parts of the big creek that runs through our neighborhood.  With all of the rain it is full of tadpoles.  Almost every afternoon there are kids playing along the bank.  They are some of the sweetest kids always introducing themselves and letting Riley tag along and see the tadpoles.  I will miss this part of living in town.

Reposting this. Apparently Blogger had some issues and deleted posts made recently. Riley is enjoying a ride around town sporting her new helmet and incredibly annoying horn. She rides fast enough I have to run to keep up and that is why we bought the helmet. I'm afraid I won't keep up!

Easter

Riley posing for some pics in her Easter dress. It almost didn't fit. She's grown so much lately and I had bought this dress for $4 at a Kohl's end-of-the-season clearance last fall.
