Finally...Thomas the Train
Riley has been asking for Thomas the Train for a while and she finally got a set for Christmas this year. Thanks to e-Bay she was able to get quite a few engines and lots of tracks. She has been playing with it all week and is getting really good at putting the tracks together. Emily is her favorite engine and I'm enjoying the hours of occupied 2 year old bliss!

Princess Riley in her heart sunglass with her princess bubble wand sacked out on the way home from Christmas at Grans.

Brave Girl!
Riley amazes me at how fearless she is. I hope that doesn't prove to be a bad thing in the future. She loves to get corn left in the field and feed it to Rosie (the horse) and Barbie (the cow). We have a few other cows that will eat from your hand but their names are #8 and #22. Riley isn't afraid of a good cow lick or some nibbling from horse lips.

Sick Girl
Riley got sick Sunday afternoon on our way to our church's fall festival, so I got to take a sick day yesterday to stay at home with her. I think she was over it because she acted very much like herself. She put on her backpack so she could go to Grammy and PaPa's house. She made a piece of styrofoam into a swimming pool for her Little People and Tuck the turtle.

One is the loneliest number...
Before....
And After. Riley and Reese were going to try to ride the ferris wheel at Mule Day this year. All was going well and smiles were all around until the gentleman working the ride snapped in the bar and the seat gave a little swing. You can see from the before pictures that their faces look a little concerned at this point.
Reese got a little scared, either from the sudden jolt or the very friendly ride worker she wasn't so sure about and she got off. But Riley was able to hang in there and even had a smile on her face at the end. Her eyes were big as saucers on the first trip around but after some waving at her, she was able to wave back and smile. I think she had fun. The best part is the huge smile on the face of the ride worker. He was sweet to the girls.
