Bathtime Video

It is hard to get Riley to stand still these days. She runs everywhere she goes. In the bathtub I can actually get her corralled for a few minutes. Her is a quick video working on her vocabulary.

A silly hat...

Barney has a song that goes, "a silly hat, a silly hat, I wear it on my head because that's where it's at." These guys were being silly at my moms. I believe that bowl was used as a salad crisper when I was a kid. It was made by tupperware and it had a green pointy thing you stuck the lettuce on.

Cousin Joseph

Riley had a good time playing with her cousin Joseph while we were visiting my parents last week. There are many pictures of Joseph's dad and I playing together like this when we were kids so I'm glad they are going to have the same memories. Brad, Carrie, Joseph and Alexus came to eat fish with us and stayed to play for a while. It was a lot of fun. I assume as Alexus and Reese get a little older we'll see similar pictures of them. They are closer in age separated by only a copy of months. Joseph is about 3 1/2 and Riley is almost 16 months now.

Swimming in the pond

Riley got her first opportunity to swim in the pond at my folks. She really seemed to enjoy it. We bought a little raft with legs and she did really well trying to kick around. The water was perfect that day and we enjoyed getting to relax a little.

Riley in Pigtails (again)

I just love Riley's hair in pigtails. Here she is at Grammy & Pa's eating breakfast and watching TV with daddy. We have more pics from our trip to visit the folks but I'll ration them in case I don't take any more pictures soon.

A Little Dirt Never Hurt

When Riley plays at the farm, she fears no dirt. By the time we get her home there is no place to put her but the bath tub when. After playing with the new kittens, digging in the garden, destroying most of my work area and playing with her toys she is filthy but she doesn't seem to mind. We worked today on a playhouse under the new steps to the loft. Hopefully there will be some pictures of it to post soon. I think Riley will really enjoy it.
